Goldie Lox
RIP
3 July 2010
A very sad day for us as Goldie, our very much loved aged Mare, sadly died a quiet death at the age of 32. We miss you Goldie Lox and forever will you live in our hearts.
Sleep peacefully ol' Girl......
We are so pleased to introduce you to our beautiful aged mare, Goldie. She is every nervous parents dream horse.
Goldie doesn't have any fancy registration papers, a stable name, any exciting worldly experiences, nor does she have a cabinet full of trophies and ribbons - but what Goldie has is more than any of these things are worth.
Goldie has understanding, forgiveness, gentleness and so much love to give. She is totally bombproof, a complete beginners horse that only pleases time after time. She is a real member of our family, we could not imagine being without her.

She is teaching the kids responsibility and horse husbandry, she is teaching them confidence and skill, she is teaching them kindness and friendship. And on top of all that, she is teaching them to ride without the need for an instructor.
Goldie is a true gem and whist she is living the retired life, she is still acting as a teacher every day. Just a perfect horse, we cannot thank Sandra and family enough for trusting us with such a beautiful and peaceful horse.
